This is Vision
Having developed our Vision event over the last four seasons we felt we wanted to review the direction.and develop the brand list to provide a platform for other new and niche collections. Vision was previously a platform for designers who were selected by industry commentators including Louise Wilson & Hywel Davis. Brands included Peter Jensen, JW Anderson, Wood Wood, Saint Paul, Forgotten Future, Carolyn Massey, Lou Dalton, Omar Kasura, and many, many more..This season to mark our move to the BDC we are pleased to announce that we have created a collaboration with Fats Shariff to curate our contemporary Vision area for AW12.
Fats Shariff is a mastermind of the fashion industry.and has an instinct for tapping into the zeitgeist. Born and raised in London, Fats’ diverse career in fashion spans 22 years during which he mainly worked as a creative producer and director, design consultant and photographer for diverse companies including, .Nike, Dior, Puma and WeSC.
Once part of the most integral streetwear agency Gimme 5, Fats is now the photographer for quality, insight and original Street wear treatments. He has worked on influential labels such as GoodEnough.UK, A Bathing Ape, Silas, Vans & Maharishito.to name but a few.
