Since its beginnings in the West Midlands in 2001 Luke has developed into a recognised player in the UK menswear market with a following stretching far and wide.
Luke is a practical interpretation on contemporary menswear and has all the components of the modern lad, a gentleman, a working class hero and a bit of a rogue. The brand draws strong influences from the tough elements of its native Birmingham. Foundry worker meets fashionista, Luke’s taste envelopes all. Luke’s ethos is to put a fashionable twist on any men’s garment but without overdesigning to retain a cool masculine look. The brand offers an exclusive look for an inclusive country, the United Kingdom of Luke.
AW12 is a collection based around the theme ‘This is The United Kingdom of Luke’. Key design features pay homage to the style and culture of the early 1980s combined with all of Luke’s classic finishing and styling. Footwear and accessories are now a key area and this season sees a footwear offering including trainers, casuals and formal. The accessories package is a real highlight with computer knit flat caps, combi reversible belts, distressed leather wallets and a vintage American post bag!
